The Standard Linear Motion Unit for individual needs

Our Linear Motion Units can be integrated into the entire Robotunits Modular Automation System. A specially developed aluminum extrusion allows the belt to run back within the profile, leaving three freely accessible T-slots for attachments. The linear motion unit can also be a frame construction at the same time. This keeps our system simple and flexible.

Guiderails instead of guide systems

Attaching the hardened guide rail transforms the Robotunits extrusion into a linear motion unit. The multifunctionality of the Robotunits Modular Automation System is key for this application. The hardened guide rail allows for zero-edge positioning without play. In addition, our system is charcterized by high wear resistance and smooth operation.

Basically, we distinguish between the standard Linear Motion System where the motor is connected to the outer pulley and the Omega unit, which is especially suitable for Z-axes. The advantage is that as little system mass as possible should be moved on the Z-axis and therefore the motor is not moved by the Omega connection.
